1、 Similarities

2、 Difference between rubber synchronous belt and polyurethane synchronous belt:
1) Different materials: rubber timing belt with rubber, polyurethane timing belt with polyurethane;;
2) Different hardness: rubber synchronous belt is relatively soft (about shore 65 degrees), polyurethane synchronous belt is slightly hard (generally in shore 92 degrees);
3) Different applications: the manufacturing cost of rubber synchronous belt is low, and its characteristics are suitable for heavy-duty transmission and transmission device. At present, most of them choose rubber synchronous belt in harsh environment. Polyurethane synchronous belt has some limitations, but because it does not produce dust, its wear resistance is better than rubber synchronous belt, so it is widely used in food, medicine, beverage, electronics and other industries;
4) Different production processes: the production process of rubber synchronous belt is relatively complicated, including rubber mixing, vulcanization and other processes, while the process of polyurethane synchronous belt will be simpler, TPU type synchronous belt can be extruded directly by extruder, CPU type synchronous belt can be completed by pouring method;
5) Different material characteristics: Polyurethane synchronous belt is more wear-resistant than rubber synchronous belt, more resistant to acid and alkali and other chemicals.
6) Special purpose processing belt is basically polyurethane synchronous belt, which is determined by polyurethane material and is easy to integrate. Polyurethane synchronous belt has many uses, such as opening belt, ring belt, connecting ring belt and other special processing belts, while rubber synchronous belt is generally only ring belt.
