Elastic Ribbed Belts

The elastic ribbed belt consists of a superstructure, an elastic tension cord and a base. The superstructure is made from a fibre-reinforced rubber mixture. The fibres are laid perpendicular to the direction of belt travel and stabilize the belt during dynamic operation. The tension cord is a high modulus polyamide material embedded in a rubber compound and covers the entire width of the ribbed belt. The rib compound is characterized by high wear resistance and damping properties.
Elastic ribbed belts for roller conveyors can be mounted at fixed centre distances (no belt tensioner required), offer energy savings thanks to their high efficiency (up to 97%), have low noise levels and require no lubrication. These belts allow high linear speeds to be achieved and are suitable for driving up to 50 rollers with a single motor.
Available in ‘J’ profiles for loads up to 300 kg and ‘K’ profiles for loads up to 2 tonnes, load capacity refers to the weight distributed over 6 consecutive rollers. For more information and sizing, please contact our Technical Department.
The elastic belt is fully compatible with all Poly-V pulleys. The geometry of the belt profiles complies with ISO 9982.
